Writer and Director Philip Waller embarks on an adventure to the mecca of surfing, the North Shore of Oahu. After years landlocked and uninspired by life in Los Angeles, Philip calls an old friend (Dan Moore) who lives on the North Shore asking if he can stay with him for a few weeks and document the trip. The next day Philip is sitting on a plane flying to Hawaii. “Finding Aloha” tells the story of underground Big Wave surfer Dan Moore and his amazing group of friends, as they search for pure happiness, adrenaline, and the meaning of the Aloha Spirit.
