The Hawaii premiere of this outrageous, irreverent theatrical adaptation of the cult classic film features music and lyrics by Bon Jovi’s David Bryan and Joe DiPietro. Nerdy Melvin Ferd, an aspiring earth scientist, vows to clean up New Jersey, beginning with the toxic waste dump in his neighborhood. The mayor’s goons toss him into a drum of green, burbling sludge, from which he emerges as a new superhero, the disfigured but mighty and honorable Toxic Avenger!
