This play takes a fun and creative approach to telling the story of Powell’s Expedition to chart and map large swaths of the Colorado and Green Rivers, including being the first white men to raft through the Grand Canyon. The twist is that all the parts are played by women! Much of the text is taken directly from Powell’s journals, giving the audience rare contemporaneous perspectives on American expansionism. This is a funny and innovative play that celebrates the beauty of America while also questioning the ethics and impact of its colonialism.

In this cult classic and Aloha Theatre fan favorite, sweethearts Brad and Janet discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” Complete with sass from the audience, this deliberately kitschy rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever. *This is a special Halloween showing and is not included in the season pass.
