The Education program offers creative and performing arts learning opportunities that support the development of real-world skills for all. Our courses explore a variety of artistic subjects including acting, music, script writing, costuming, improvisation, set design, and more!
Aloha Adult Classes
Improv Level 5: The Rise of a Troupe
October 22 – November 11

Ages 18+
$90 Early Bird, $100 after Oct. 1
It’s time to take everything you learned in Improv 1- 4, and bring it to the big stage! Join Quinton Loder for the final level of professional Improv Theatre training in West Hawaii. Level 5 features two “intensive” sessions (10/22, 10/29) featuring advanced games, personal feedback, and understanding how to “stand out” on the stage while being a respectful improv teammate. There will be 4 showcase performances (11/2, 11/4, 11/9, 11/10) for the community to attend, with an opportunity to receive audience feedback.
To register for this course, students must have completed:
– “Level 1 Improv: The FUNdamentals of Improvisation”
– “Level 2 Improv: Intro to Long Form Styles”
– “Level 3: Intro to Short Form Styles”
– “Level 4: Long, Real, and Short”

Aloha Teen Theatre

Aloha Teen Theatre (ATT) is a FREE weekly program for youth ages 13-18, residing on Hawaii Island, that explores the many elements and skills involved in the creative and performing arts industries! ATT also offers a unique opportunity for teens to collaborate and build valuable relationships with others who share similar interests.
* School holidays are observed with no meetings over Fall, Winter, and Spring Breaks.
Tuesday Troupers
October 17 – December 5
Tuesdays | 8 weeks
Ages 10-12
Tuesday Troupers is where students learn important skills useful on and offstage. Through eight 2-hour sessions students will learn and rehearse a short play, over that time they’ll improve their public speaking, develop problem-solving skills, and build friendships. It is our expectation that parents and families will be able to attend a final performance.
Theatre Thrivers
October 18 – December 6
Wednesdays | 8 weeks
Ages 8-9
Theatre Thrivers is where students learn important skills useful on and offstage. Through eight 90 minute sessions students will play theatre games, learn the core concepts of theatre practice, and rehearse a short performance.
It is our expectation that parents and families will be able to attend a final showcase performance.

Little Theatre Club

Little Theatre Club is a chance to introduce your child to the world of theatre!
In these six creative play sessions students learn basic performance techniques, familiarize themselves with theatre, and have fun!
It is our expectation that parents and families will be able to attend a final showcase performance.
